BarCamp Derry is on!
Date: Saturday, October 10th, 2009
Time: 9am-5pm + drinks afterwards
Venue: University of Ulster, Magee Campus
If you haven’t been to one before, BarCamps are “ an international network of user generated conferences — open, participatory workshop-events, whose content is provided by participants.”
In other words; everyone is welcome, it’s completely free and anyone with something interesting to say can speak or run a short workshop. It’s the perfect place to make connections and learn about web stuff, digital stuff and tech stuff.
We’re working on a bunch of exciting ideas to make this BarCamp a real event and hope to see a good contingent from Belfast, Dublin, Donegal and beyond.
If you have any ideas or would like to volunteer to help out (either in advance or on the day), please get in touch and make sure you’re following @barcampderry on Twitter.
I’d love to help out and attend. Sign me up!
